Go 4th and Learn about…

Celebrating Independence Day isn’t just about BBQ’s and fireworks, but learning about history and culture that has shaped our world today. In honor of history and learning, Wawa Welcome America! Festival presents Go 4th and Learn, a series of interactive history lessons for children of all ages.

June 27
Go 4th and Learn about History
Franklin Square
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Kick of the Go 4th and Learn series with a day of storytelling featuring Mayor Nutter and Philadelphia and Wawa History. You will also experience a Wawa Dairy exhibit, learn how to milk cows and much more.
The first 200 participating children will receive a free book.

June 28
Go 4th and Learn about Performance Art
The Dell Music Center
10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Do you enjoy expressing yourself in more ways than one? Here’s your chance to learn about music, dance and art!

July 2
Go 4th and Learn about Science
The Franklin Institute
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
In preparation for the amazing fireworks on July 4, learn about the science of fireworks! This event is limited to the first 300 participants. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The first 200 children will receive a free book.
