One of the most confusing places in my kitchen can be the cupboards. We have a small, galley-type kitchen with only cupboards in which to store our food (I can’t wait to have a kitchen with a pantry). As in most kitchens, these cupboards are positioned at a height that I need a stepladder in order to see what is in there. This means that sometimes things get pushed to the back of the shelves and forgotten for a few months.
In the past, I have maintained an inventory of the food we have in our kitchen, so things don’t get forgotten or overstocked. I might have to start doing that again.
