It has been a few months since I’ve shared mail that has come and gone, mostly because in April we moved. Moving can be such a fun process, but there was about a three week period where I didn’t get any mail. I think mostly because the post office was figuring out my mail forwarding request. It’s interesting because a few things sent my way actually got returned to sender with a nixie label and then other mail has been forwarded without any issues. Just goes to show that human error can happen anywhere.
Here are a few pieces of mail I have received over the past few months from fellow LEP members and one LWA penpal.
I just love receiving mail from different countries and this is the first time I’ve seen a stamp place in the lefthand corner of an envelope. I never knew such a thing was possible.
This batch includes flamingos from Canada (the postcard you see in the first photo is from within the U.S.). The second postcard definitely showed me a side of Canada I never even considered. I have to admit that when I think of Canada, I always think of snow.
Beautiful mail from the wonderful Sofie. I love the colors of the envelope, and the stamps she used are some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen, so artistic.
Look at the cute little penguin who helped deliver my letter.
A view of Las Vegas, Harry Potter mail, flowers, and stickers.
